5Amped 2 is STILL the best snowboard game.Feb 06, 2010
I owned this game back when it came out and I seriously kept playing it for a few years. I might stop for a bit but it always found its way back into the xbox. my favorite game on xbox. I literally played it to death, i played it so much it was too mangled to play. so a year or two later I just bought a copy again, and yes i still play it all the time. Im waiting for a snowboard game as good as this one. Amped 3 sucked balls, it was nothing like 2. Amped 3 was like the physics of SSX with worse gameplay and without all the stuff that made SSX fun. BUY AMPED 2

Best snowboarding game out there. You can grab differently and customize using both sticks to do tricks.

I've played a few snowboarding games for Xbox, and this one is my favorite by far. The mountains are unique and fun, the challenges (gaps, tricks, snowmen) are cool, and the overall look and feel of the game is excellent. My one complaint is that the manual (and the game itself) use lots of terms - for tricks, especially - that a person unfamiliar with snowboarding can have trouble understanding. For example, what kind of trick is an "impossible"? At first I thought that was a description of the trick, but then I realized that was the actual trick name.
But aside from that, this game is tons of fun. Highly recommended.

this game is really good me being a snowboarder knew i would love it, its very well done and fun to play, what makes this game even better is it features music from one of the best bands out there in my opinion...that being Hudson River School if you guys dont know who they are you should really check them out :)...I dont think i can post links but i can say if you google them they are like the 6th down from the top :)
