There aren't any lakes, instead, you fish in five different areas, unlocking additional lures as you progress.The gameplay is quite simplistic. All you really have to do is choose the best lure for a particular area and cast.

The 3D graphics are fairly realistic and sound is reasonable good too.

Action Bass is a good arcade-style fishing but for players that really enjoy simulation-style fishing games with boats and vast areas to explore, then this may not be the right game for you.

It was a waste of time, after you hook the fish they dont try to escape, they sit there so you can reel them in. You will quickly get bored with this game.

wow, what a great gameOct 23, 2000

i really enjoy playing this fishing game. if you've tried other fishing games and got frustrated with not catching anything, you'll enjoy this game. it's challanging yet not frustrating. many levels of play with different strengths of fish. i would recommend this game for kids and adults alike. what a value too. finally a game that you can really enjoy and you didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for it. :)
